Independent Project – Berlin

For this winter campaign, Berliner Kindl wanted to celebrate what really warms the city: not the weather, but the people who make Berlin feel alive.

We created a series of cinematic portraits of everyday moments across the city: a tram stop in the rain, a döner worker on his late shift, friends hugging outside a Späti, a quiet goodbye at Hauptbahnhof, and three friends laughing on the curb after being turned away from KitKat Club.

Each story feels intimate and unmistakably Berlin, with the mix of grit and warmth you only find here. With a small crew, we combined real locations, AI tools and custom 3D assets to build a visual world that feels like documentary, but looks like cinema.

Together with Ultraviolet, we turned it into a campaign that says one simple thing: in Berlin, the cold never wins. The people do.

THE PRINT CAMPAIGN

THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION

The Night Crate is a special-edition Berliner Kindl crate made from transparent plastic with a warm orange neon core. By day it works like any other beer crate, but at night it turns into a glowing lantern for bars, Spätis and street corners, a small block of warmth for the whole city.

Built as a limited collector’s piece, it’s the kind of object every Berliner wants to take home, keep glowing, and make part of their own Berlin nights.

We took Berliner Kindl out into the city and used small interventions to warm up some of Berlin’s coldest moments. A glowing “guest-list bench” waits outside the clubs for everyone who didn’t get in. At train stations,
“Emergency Berliner Kindl” boxes turn hard-as-fuck goodbyes into softer ones.

Each activation works quietly in the background, turning the in-between moments of Berlin nights into something a little kinder.
