The Central Bank of Peru makes emblematic coins of S/.1 with
various designs inspired by Peruvian culture.
For every design, 12 million coins were released for the people.
However, for the first time in the history of Peru, we ask the bank

the children with cancer from Give Your Heart*.
* “Give Your Heart” is an initiative from the Peruvian
Cancer Foundation, an institution that for over 50 years has been helping
children with limited resources who suffer from cancer. The primary objective
of this institution is raising funds to cover medical expenses, treatments and
research.
